In addition to unit size, you need to also consider the unit type. Climate-controlled or non-climate-controlled. Although climate-controlled units cost more, they offer the best protection for your belongings. At Home Town Mini Storage we control humidity in addition to temperature. We strive to maintain humidity between 45 and 55% and temperature between 60 and 80 degrees. We also have non-climate-controlled units. A more economical option for your less delicate belongings.

5x10 Storage Units

A 5x10 storage unit is 50 square feet and similar in size to a walk-in closet. This small storage solution can accommodate the contents of 1 room. Ideal for storing bedding, dressers, coffee tables. These units are also great for storing boxed items, such as documents and business records, that can be stacked to the ceiling.

10x10 Storage Units

A 10x10 storage unit is 100 square feet and similar to  half of a one car garage. These units are a popular storage solution and can store the contents of 3 rooms. Great for storing household furniture such as sofas, tables, bedding, coffee tables and appliances. Also good for gardening tools and camping equipment.

10x15 Storage Units

A 10x15 storage unit is 150 square feet and similar to a large bedroom. This unit size can accommodate 4 rooms of contents. Ideal for storing bulky items such as sofas, dining tables, dressers, bedroom suits and bookcases. Large appliances, such as washers, dryers and refrigerators.

10x20 Storage Units

A 10x20 storage unit is 200 square feet and similar to a small one car garage. This is the largest unit size we offer and can store 5 rooms of contents. Great for storing bulky items such as sectional sofas, dining tables, bedroom suits, dressers and entertainment centers. Large appliances, such as washers, dryers refrigerators, dish washers.
